For Residents
A clear guide to CISAMN services and what to expect when working with us.
What is CISAMN?
CISAMN helps you connect with the services and resources you need. We work with local organizations to provide clear information, respectful support, and reliable follow-up—especially when navigating systems feels difficult.
How CISAMN Works
CISAMN uses a simple, step-by-step process called the Systems Loop. This helps you and your support person work together to get things done.
Map
Find the right entry points and routes.
Identify the fastest safe path through institutions (where to start, what to avoid, what to bring). Turn 'the system' into a small set of workable routes.
1. Map
Together, we identify what you need, where to go, and what might get in the way.
2. Script
We create a simple plan in plain language that you understand and agree with.
3. Attempt
You take the next step—making a call, filling out a form, or visiting an office. We're here to help if you need it.
4. Follow Up
Within a few days, we check in to see if things worked out. If not, we figure out what to do next.
What to Expect
Respectful Service
You'll be treated with dignity. We listen to what you need and work at your pace.
Clear Information
Everything is explained in plain language. No confusing jargon or hidden steps.
Reliable Follow-Up
We don't leave you hanging. We check back to make sure things worked out and help if they didn't.
